A New Farm Beginning

Updated: Feb 9, 2021

Caring for farm animals in Bill's memory

by Emily Darpino November 2019

Many of you enjoyed our animals at the farm or have seen furry heads over our fence. Here’s what we’ve been up to: our barnyard is now officially a home for farm animals that are unwanted or that can no longer be cared for by their original owners. Friends, meet Sunshine Farm Sanctuary.

This past spring, we lost our father Bill to pancreatic cancer and have decided to begin this endeavor in his memory. Bill loved the animals who brought him much peace in this stressful world. We applied and were found worthy to be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. With your help, we can continue caring for the animals to live out their lives happily.

All donations will go directly to our animals for food purchase, shelter repairs, and veterinary care. We will announce special days that we will invite the public during the coming years to see this work in action. Follow us online to learn more and get involved at Facebook.com/SunshineFarmSanctuaryInc

If you feel that this is a cause that you would like to be a part of, we would be so appreciative of your support. Donations can be made easily and safely via Paypal on our website or mailed to

324 S Mannheim Ave

A receipt for your tax exempt donation will be sent. Thank you again for your consideration from the animals of Sunshine Farm Sanctuary and the whole Darpino Family.
